The coastal city of Santos is located only 55 km (34 miles) from São Paulo and it’s very easy to get to Sheraton Santos Hotel.

By Airplane

  • Booking your flight
    International travelers should seek tickets to Sao Paulo, as the city of Santos is closer to the airport of this city.
    International flights arrive at São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), which is 115 km (70 mi) away from the Mercure Santos Hotel.
  • Visas and Travel Requirements
    Most travelers does not need any visas to visit Brazil, with notable exceptions of Americans, Australians, Canadians and Japaneses, for example.
    Before booking a flight, check if you need any visa and/or any other requirements are required from your country to visit Brazil.
  • After Arriving
    From the airport you can reach the city of Santos, with the bus service of Cometa company. Buses depart from the floor “landing” of the Terminal 2 – east wing.
    Cometa buses go straight to Santos Intercity Bus Terminal. Uber service is available in Santos.

  • Booking your flight
    Domestic travelers should look for tickets to the destination São Paulo, since the city of Santos is closer to the two airports airports in Sao Paulo.
    Domestic flights can reach:
    – São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), which is 115 km (70 mi) away from the Sheraton Santos.
    – São Paulo-Congonhas Airport (CGH), which is 75 km (45mi) away from the Sheraton Santos.
    We do not recommend flights to São Paulo-Campinas-Viracopos Airport (VCP), since it is more than 200 km (125 mi) from Santos.
  • After Arriving
    From both airports you can reach the city of Santos, with buses of Cometa company.
    Cometa buses go straight to Santos Intercity Terminal. At the Bus Terminal in Santos, there is also an Urban Bus terminal. Uber service is available in Santos.

By Bus

  • If you come from the border in Foz do Iguaçu, and then directly to Santos
    The Bus Terminal in Santos does not receive international buses. However, there are lines operated by Pluma between Santos and Foz do Iguaçu, in the triple border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
  • If you come via Sao Paulo
    Santos is close to São Paulo, were there are international bus lines to Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia and Peru. If you come via São Paulo, you will reach the Tietê International Bus terminal. In Tietê, you should take the subway to Jabaquara station, where there is another Intercity Bus Terminal. From this terminal, you take the bus to Santos, which runs every 10 minutes. The trip usually takes about 50 minutes. Bus companies Cometa, Rápido Brasil, Ultra e Expresso Luxo link the Jabaquara Terminal  to Santos Intercity Terminal.
  • Upon arriving at the bus station in Santos
    At Intercity Bus Terminal in Santos, there is also a City Bus terminal. Uber service is available in Santos.

The Bus Terminal of Santos does not have lines to all Brazilian states, however, the variety of lines to various capitals and medium cities in nearby states is quite large. Check if there are direct lines between your city and Santos. If not, the best option is to come via Sao Paulo.

  • Via São Paulo
    If you come via São Paulo, you will reach Tietê bus terminal or Barra Funda Bus Terminals. Both have subway stations. Take the subway to Jabaquara station, where there is another bus terminal. From this terminal, you take the bus to Santos, which runs every 10 minutes. The trip takes about 50 minutes. Bus companies Cometa, Rápido Brasil, Ultra e Expresso Luxo link the Jabaquara Terminal  to Santos Intercity Terminal.

By Car

  • Paraguay and Argentina (via Misiones and Foz do Iguaçu)
    If you come from Argentina, the best way is by Missiones, crossing the border between Puerto Iguazu and Foz do Iguaçu. Head to Cascavel, where you take BR-369 to Maringa and Londrina. Take PR-323 from Londrina to Ourinhos. After Ourinhos, take Castello Branco highway SP-348 to São Paulo. Next to São Paulo, use the SP-21 Rodoanel (Beltway/Ring Road) to reach the Imigrantes highway SP-160, the fastest way to the coastal cities.
    At km 61 of the Imigrantes highway you should switch to the Via Anchieta SP-150 that comes directly to Santos Downtown. Follow the signs to the beach. The hotel is located in front of Shopping Praiamar.
  • Uruguay and Argentina (Via Uruguaiana)
    From Paso de Los Libres/Uruguaiana or Chuy, you should reach the city of Porto Alegre. From Porto Alegre, take the BR-101 to Curitiba (the road changes number to BR-376, after Joinville). Arriving in Curitiba, take the Ring Road, following the signs to São Paulo. After Curitiba, take the Régis Bittencourt BR-116 until km 385, in the state of São Paulo, where you need to take SP-55 highway for Santos. The hotel is located in front of Shopping Praiamar.
  • Follow signs to Sao Paulo
  • When arriving Sao Paulo
    Use the SP-21 Rodoanel (Beltway / Ring Road) to avoid the traffic of the city of São Paulo and to access the Imigrantes Highway SP-160, fastest way to the south coast of São Paulo.
  • Arriving in Santos
    At km 61 of the Imigrantes Highway you should switch to the Via Anchieta SP-150 that comes directly to Santos Downtown. Follow the signs to the beach. The hotel is located in front of Shopping Praiamar.
  • North and West Zones
    Take Marginal Tietê and Marginal Pinheiros to reach a Av. dos Bandeirantes and then Imigrantes Highway SP-160.
  • Downtown and South Zone
    Take North-South Corridor (Av. 23 de Maio) or Av. Ricardo Jafet to reach Imigrante Highway SP-160.
  • Santo Amaro and Diadema
    Av. Cupecê takes you directly to Imigrantes Highway SP-160.
  • East Zone
    Near Downtown East Zone: Take Av. Anhaia Mello, Av. do Estado and Av. Tancredo Neves to reach Imigrantes Highway SP-160.
    Far East Zone: Take Av. Jacu-Pêssego to reach Rodoanel (Beltway/Ring Road) SP-21 and then Imigrantes Highway SP-160.
  • Arriving in Santos
